This role is to provide clinical management and consultation service to patients with conditions applicable to the sub-specialty of Orthopaedic Surgery and participate in an appropriate on-call roster. You will support and facilitate a culture of learning and best practice whilst demonstrating your high standard of patient care and treatment for junior colleagues to model. You will assist the Director of Medical Services in service planning and quality improvement activities for the department, whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
This role will find you joining the dedicated team at this private hospital situated in regional Victoria providing care to both private and self-insured patients. This 50 bed hospital is equipped with three operating theatres, with specialist services covering a vast array of procedures such as Orthopaedic Surgery, Gynaecology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Urology. The facility aims to deliver an environment to patients’ that allows them to relax as though they are in their own home, comprising an Inpatient ward that is made up of 29 beds, two of them being High Dependency Units, five Post Natal beds and a Palliative care room. Currently the facilities services range from providing Surgical and Medical procedures, Day Procedures, Post natal Care, Chemotherapy, Sleep study and IVF.

Eligible for registration with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Authority as a Medical Practitioner and a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons with subspecialist recognition in Orthopaedic Surgery.
