The specialist qualification in Australia and New Zealand is a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of O&G (RANZCOG). If your training program is similar to the RANZOG training program (in terms of content, duration, governance, and assessment) you may be found comparable if you apply for Specialist Assessment in Australia or Vocational registration in New Zealand. The RANZCOG training program is 5 years.
Doctors who have completed O&G training in other comparable health systems such as the UK/Ireland/Canada (MRCOG + CCT) are often considered comparable.
