== The Position == This is an opportunity for a suitably experienced and motivated ENT surgeon to take on a unique position within Warrnambool Base Hospital. You will work as one of two full time ENT surgeons in the region providing preoperative, operative and postoperative management of patients. You will have the opportunity to work across both the public and private sectors alongside the choice of a generous salary package or charge fee for service. You will be a team player, joining a supportive and collaborative working environment with strong links to the community and referral networks. Additionally, you will facilitate a learning culture within this teaching hospital with Deakin University located on site. The Health Service Operating under South West Healthcare, the Warrnambool and Camperdown public facilities are well established within the local community, servicing the area for more than one and a half centuries. Alongside general medical services, the health service offers community mental health centres, aged care facilities, allied health and community health services to the 110,000 individuals residing within the immediate area. The private hospital ? located in Warrnambool ? is part of the large Catholic not-for-profit health care group St John of God health care. This facility is a 73 bed private facility encompassing 3 operating theatres and providing services to the community including oncology, psychiatric, general medical and elective services.
