== The Position == As the Staff Specialist General Medicine Physician, you are responsible for inpatient and outpatient care, as well as consultation services. You will be reporting to the Director of Medicine in addition to working alongside a large, multi-disciplinary medical team, with abundant junior medical support. The Hospital This medium-sized 320+ bed hospital provides public services to a population of approximately 200,000. In conjunction with the District, it provides an integrated network of acute, mental health, aged care, community and allied health inpatient and outpatient services. There are 79 non-consultant hospital doctors and approximately 30 staff specialists across the various specialties. In addition, there are approximately 40 visiting specialists who provide services to this hospital.
