== The Position == As an experienced Specialist Radiation Oncologist, you will possess skills at a specialist level in exemplary patient care and cancer care services to the community.  You will thrive on working as a stand-alone Radiation Oncologist with VMO?s as support, alongside four Radiation Therapists and two Nurses. Your focus will be to provide clinical care and day to day clinical management of associated multidisciplinary patient care to ensure the delivery of cost-effective, high-quality Radiation Oncology treatment. This position will also support and drive strategic business initiatives and contribute towards developing and upholding a high-performance culture that is in alignment with the vision and values of the Group. With no other provider in the area and the region becoming a haven for young families, there is real growth potential for this site.   == The Practice == Located in a busy regional centre working closely with both the nearby public and private hospitals, this private practice delivers critical access to cancer treatment for the local community.  The site has a strong and cohesive Radiation Oncology team in place who will provide support to Radiation Oncologists joining the team.  They have strong links with local multidisciplinary meeting structures and a broad case mix.   The Group are driven by their values and in return, they offer their teams a friendly and dynamic work environment, career development pathways, and unique rewards and benefits.   == The Location == Based in South East Queensland, the city is a local government area located in the southeast of the Brisbane metropolitan area. It is spread along the southern coast of Moreton Bay with its mainland borders the City of Brisbane to the west and north-west, and Logan City to the south-west and south, while its' islands are situated north of the City of Gold Coast.   The city has many immediately recognisable animals and plants such as koalas, migratory shorebirds, flying foxes and scribbly gum forests. It is also home to over 1,700 other recorded native species. The council area is also home to Venman Bushland National Park, and the Eprapah Scout environment training centre. With a range of schools and affordable housing, you could comfortably relocate your family here and continue a thriving practice.     == Essential Criteria == To be successful in applying for this position you must hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) (Faculty of Radiation Oncology). Applicants must be eligible for full Medical Indemnity insurance and EPA license for radiation oncology.
