The Hospital This opportunity is based in a 110 bed well-equipped secondary hospital with modern facilities, caring for a close-knit, multicultural community of 46,000 people. The hospital offers a range of service ? Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Medicine, Pathology and Emergency, as well as allied health services. There is also established networks for clinical backup and tertiary support from the surrounding hospitals.  The department is well supported locally by comprehensive surgical services, and has a full range of diagnostic facilities on site including a new MRI scanner, CT scanner and 24 hour on-site laboratory facilities.   == The Location == Set apart by the most temperate climate and beautiful natural surroundings of the North Island of New Zealand, it is little wonder that this is the work destination of choice for many medical professionals.
