== The Position == Wavelength has an exciting new opportunity for an O&G Staff Specialist to join a growing department in regional New South Wales. You will be a good team player with a wealth of experience within this specialty. You will take on a leadership role as you continue to grow and develop the department, with the support of an experienced nursing and administration team. You will participate in clinical governance and service planning for the department whilst not being afraid to take a ?hands on? approach in the daily running of the unit. You will be available to participate in an on call roster and also assist in supporting junior medical staff and students in their education. The Hospital Servicing a catchment population of over 50,000 this hospital has recently completed a $22 million redevelopment. As a result, new state of the art operating theatres and surgical services have been provisioned as well as an overhaul of existing orthopaedic and medical imaging wards. The 110 bed hospital has in excess of 12,500 admissions per year providing services across Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Oncology and Renal Dialysis. High level services such as ICU, Coronary care and Acute Care are also facilitated.
