== The Position == We are currently seeking a Paediatric House Medical Officer for a challenging new experience starting early May 2017 through to February 2018 on a fixed term contract. With prior experience within the Australian health care system and a proven ability to work both independently at times and within a multidisciplinary team, you will be able to display a commitment to high quality of clinical care to all patients and their families. You will utilise your interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the whole team and you will be commitment to quality management and ethical practice.  The Hospital This Tertiary teaching hospital consists of 164 beds and services a population of approximately 80,000 people. The hospital provides a range of acute services including emergency, maternity, intensive care, general medicine and surgery, medical imaging, pathology, dialysis and mental health. Further, the hospital is affiliated with various established universities for the provision of placements, training and education.    The Paediatric unit itself consists of 10 beds plus an additional 6 beds Special Care Nursery Cots (Level 2). Joining 4 other unaccredited HMO?s the department is also supported by 4 Paediatricians as well as medical students of varying levels from time to time.   == The Location == With this role you will move to a beautiful region located on the banks of the River Murray.  Known for its mild climate, picturesque views and welcoming locals this is the perfect place to call home. If you do ever miss the city atmosphere, however, the region is well connected with a busy airport offering daily flights to Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. == Essential Criteria ==  To be successful in this position you must hold AHPRA registration and have at least a years? experience within the field of Paediatrics.
