The two hospitals underwent a rebuild in 2013 which updated the ward areas and theatre and provided state of the art ambulatory outpatient area for gynaecology to facilitate outpatient hysteroscopy and colposcopy. The hospital is associated with a large medical school and the department provides teaching for 5th and 6th year medical students which you will need to be involved in.
