The Practice
Established for almost 25 years, this practice has constantly expanded to accommodate the growing number of patients and needs of its community. This purpose built 390 square meter practice, has developed to 10 consulting rooms, two allied health rooms, a 5-bed treatment room, two staff rooms/kitchens, three waiting areas and parking for staff and patients.
The practice is fully computerised, using Best Practice Software. Allied Health Services are also available on site. Together with eight other GPs, you will be working with three registered nurses and eight admin staff. They operate from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Monday-Friday and from 8:30am-2:00pm on Saturdays. No after hours work and no on-call required which gives you a relaxing time in nearby parks and cafes.

The Location
Located in the middle of Yabulu and Bluewater, lies a small residential suburb with a population of 696 people recorded in the 2011 census. Nearby coasts and parks cover this tiny suburb. Saunders Beach which a small shady, beach front rest area north of Townsville. It has all the basic facilities perfect for BBQ and camping. Bluewater Caravan Park is a pet friendly park set amongst 55 acres of native bushland and landscaped gardens and boasts the largest sites in North Queensland. This is an ideal rural community for someone looking for solitude and serenity.
Essential Criteria
DWS position available, RLRP & ROMPS suitable.
In order to be eligible for this exciting role, doctors to have a minimum 12 months of GP experience in Australia and hold general or specialist registration with AHPRA.
This role is also open to International Medical Graduates who hold post graduate qualifications in General Practice (i.e. FRACGP, FRNZCGP, MRCGP, MICGP or CCFP). General Practitioners who have one of the above recognised post graduate qualifications are eligible for reciprocal recognition with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and Wavelength International will assist you with the required regulatory and immigration process.
