== The Position == You will join an enthusiastic team as an Emergency Medicine Registrar and find yourself well supported by senior staff to provide a high level of care for all patients presenting to the department. With excellent communication skills and the ability to be a team player, you will enjoy the family orientated environment this regional trauma centre offers. You will attend to a diverse range of case mix including paediatrics, O&G and trauma and the department is accredited for 6 months of training with ACEM. The Hospital This state of the art facility is one of the largest regional hospitals in the area, boasting close to 300 beds and four operating theatres. As a teaching hospital it is closely affiliated with a number of major Universities and can offer a broad range of services including elective surgery, rehabilitation services, obstetrics, mental health and aged care services. The hospital is the specialist referral and trauma centre for the region and has over 33,000 presentations to the Emergency Department each year.
