The Position
Working as an Emergency Medicine Career Medical Officer, you will be able to provide high quality first-line medical care to patients which will included assessment, investigation, treatment and referral to ongoing treatment if needed. Reporting to the Director of the Department, you will be supported by Staff Specialists whilst offering support to junior staff and medical students. You will support the positive working culture and will contribute to and participate in quality improvement activities in order to bring consistently high standards of care to all patients. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and there may be the opportunity to complete ultrasound rotations.

As the largest hospital in the region, medical services are provided to the local and wider Riverina area including a regional referral service to outlying areas. With 294 beds in total services include medical, surgical, psychiatric and paediatric inpatient service along with emergency care.

Essential Criteria
To be eligible for this role you must have AHPRA registration currently or be eligible for registration via the Competent Authority pathway. You will be confident in your ability to work independently.
