The Opportunity   You will bring your sound clinical knowledge in integrated area mental health service provision and experience in adult psychiatry in inpatient and community settings.   You will be working with a skilled and experienced multidisciplinary team across the integrated services, to whom you will provide clinical leadership and supervision.   You will be involved in Academic duties, through research and teaching and supervision. There will be Medical administrative duties, along with clinical governance and quality activities.   The Hospital   The Hospital is a large public mental health inpatient facility which provides treatment for patients of any age, with a community care and recovery focus. Assessments are available at community centres or after hours at the hospitals.   The Local Health District is a clinical stream which operates across the District. There is a comprehensive range of treatment programs. Areas of active research include neurosciences and psychotherapy.   Within the service, there are three specialist admissions units, one forensic inpatient unit, one specialist high dependency unit and six non-acute rehabilitation units. Currently there are approximately 261 inpatient beds within the service.     == The Location ==   On the far North Coast of NSW, this is a popular holiday spot for its beautiful river, white sandy beaches and sparkling ocean.
