== The Position == As an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Consultant you will lead the multidisciplinary team to provide high standard of specialist O&G for a large metropolitan health district with an approximate annual delivery of 2500 births. Your significant O&G experience will see you leading clinical care while promoting safety and quality of care through education and supervision of junior medical staff, registrars and GP obstetricians as well as working in close partnership with all other members of the allied health team. You will be required to participate in the on-call roster, promotion of quality improvement and working in partnership with community and other health care providers. The Hospital This modern/ medium sized metropolitan hospital holds 290 beds, servicing a population of approximately 200,000 people. The hospital provides general medicine, O&G, ICU, mental health, paediatrics and neonates, renal, sub-acute, renal and aged care to the community as part of a larger health service group that may offer potential to work across multiple sites in future for certain clinical positions.
