When you join this health service as an Advanced Medical Registrar, you will enjoy a supportive culture based on reward and recognition as you bring with you a motivated and dedicated attitude. Working 86 hours per fortnight, part of your daily tasks will be to review patients and discuss findings and management plans with the supporting consultant. You will attend 3 General Medical clinics a week to aid your development and you will have the ability to communicate promptly with referring GP’s. To make sure any necessary follow up tests are ordered as part of the clinics and care management plans, you will also have the ability to liaise with the SCS coordinator.
Servicing an immediate population of 107,000, this modern, 280-bed hospital consists of four theatres, in-house MRI and CT services, and a state-of-the-art clinical skills laboratory. The Health Service is the main referral Centre for the region. Services include a 24-hour Emergency Department, Surgery, Medical Services, Women’s and Children’s Services, Rehabilitation and Palliative care, Mental Health, Outpatients, and community-based health programs.

You must have AHPRA General Registration and have completed your basic physicians training. You will have excellent communication and time management skills.
