Opportunity for a Lead Anatomical Pathologist to join a growing private pathology provider and lead a collaborative and experienced team in the Gold Coast.

The Position

Your responsibilities will include leading the Anatomical Pathology team to ensure a clinically responsive and cost-effective service, while maintaining a reduced clinical caseload to focus on training and mentoring team members. You will also be instrumental in driving clinical excellence through your involvement in quality initiatives, such as facilitating internal audits, implementing quality assurance programs, and leading research and continuing professional development activities. In addition to your managerial duties, you will act as an advisor to the company and contribute to business growth by developing new service offerings.

Essential Criteria

- Full AHPRA Registration as a Specialist in Anatomical Pathology and Fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia

- Full working rights in Australia and COVID-19 vaccinations.

- Minimum 8-10 years post Fellowship experience and ideally with experience and a strong interest in Skin Cancers
