| Conditions: | Dates: 27 May - 26 July - any set of three weeks will be considered. Rates: $2000pd + GST + travel, car, accomodation Details: This is a 2 GP post. You would be joining the clinic based in the community of Julanimawu (Nguiu) in the Arafura Sea approximately 70km north east of Darwin. Also known as Nguiu and in the community of Wurrumiyanga. Accessible via daily Air & Ferry Service from Darwin. Wurrumiyanga lies on the traditional county of the Tiwi people, on Bathurst Island. Facilities include two small supermarkets, a take away, a clinic with nurses and a permanent doctor. Tiwi is the first language spoken with English being second. Hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. On call - a Nurse on call responds to any call outs and contacts the doctor if advised by the RMP on call from Darwin. |
