About The Role
- Delivering high quality outpatient and inpatient medical care, focusing on areas such as Men’s & Women’s Health, Mental Health, Sexual Health, Rehabilitation and performing Minor Surgical Procedures
- Conducting pre and post deployment health check-ups and/or fitness assessments, and providing medical education and support to patients
- Responding to medical emergencies as required and referring patients on to other onsite services or externally for Specialist Care, Optical, Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology, Pathology and/or Occupational Rehab services
- Providing medical advice to Unit Commanders and Health Centre Managers, and updating/maintaining patient records on the online health platform
About The Location
Gaza Ridge Health Centre operates Mondays-Fridays between 0730-1530 hrs, and caters to the health care needs of over 5,000 ADF personnel based in the Albury Wodonga Military Area. Located 5 km west (7 mins drive) from Wodonga, VIC or 10 km south (12 mins drive) from Albury, NSW, the health centre provides primary care services including GP, Dental, Mental Health, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Allied Health and Pharmacy, as well as running a 24/7 20-bed low dependency ward.
About You
- Holds full General Registration with AHPRA, and Fellowship with RACGP/ACRRM or Vocational Registration
- Minimum 2 years full-time post-qualification GP experience within a private practice/outpatient setting
- Evidence of recent participation in CPD and a current CPR Certificate
- Self-starter who is collaborative, with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
