The Position
In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for our Intellectual Disability Service, ensuring high-quality mental health care delivery to consumers, families, and carers. You will work closely with the team leader and other clinical leaders to foster a supportive and inclusive environment, promote evidence-based practices, and coordinate care across the continuum of services. Your expertise will be instrumental in building strong partnerships with community agencies and stakeholders to ensure seamless access to care and optimize outcomes for our clients.

Essential Criteria
Specialist registration or eligibility for specialist registration in Psychiatry with the Medical Board of Australia.
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry (FRANZCP)
Overseas trained psychiatrists can be considered provided they are assessed as Substantially Comparable by RANZCP.
Experience in a management role with strong leadership experience is highly desirable.
