The Position

As an Anatomical Pathologist, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis of skin diseases. Your responsibilities will include selecting appropriate tissue samples, dissecting and examining resected tissue, and providing expert consultation on a wide range of skin pathology cases, including melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, benign skin tumors, inflammatory dermatoses, and hair and nail pathology. You will also be responsible for writing and compiling detailed clinical reports, developing and reviewing laboratory procedures, and conducting audits as required. Additionally, you will instruct and supervise biomedical team members on clinical best practices and participate in educational and marketing activities.

Essential Criteria

- Full AHPRA Registration as a Specialist in Anatomical Pathology and Fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia

- Full working rights in Australia and COVID-19 Vaccinations

- Minimum 2-5 years post Fellowship experience and ideally with some experience and a strong interest in Skin Cancers
