Starting 1 September, we’re delving into our pockets to offer Wave doctors, new and old, a little reward. Whether you’ve never worked with us before, worked with us years ago, or work with us regularly, read on to find what we have in store for you.

Feel good knowing you’re helping a friend find their next great role. Simply fill in our form or send us an email to introduce a doctor to Wave. You’ll need to make sure they haven’t already registered with us to be eligible for the $$.
When you refer a new doctor to Wavelength between 1 September and 31 October, and they find work with us, you'll receive AU$1,000.* Plus, the doctor you referred will also receive $AU500.*
Refer as many doctors as you like during this period, and as long as they’re eligible, you’ll be eligible for more bonuses.
It’s this easy:
- Refer a doctor via our referral form
- One of our expert team members will contact your referred doctor in the following days to discuss their career goals and find their next great role.
- Once they start their role and complete the requirements, we’ll send you a prepaid gift card worth $1,000, or if you prefer, we’ll donate $1,000 to charity on your behalf. And the doctor you referred? They'll score a $500 sign up bonus.
What you need to know:
- You must be a doctor registered with Wavelength can make a referral
- You must make the referral/s between 1 September and 31 October
- You can refer as many doctors as you like!
- The doctor you refer must be new to Wavelength
- For locum doctors, the referred doctor must complete 10 shifts within three months of being referred
- For permanent roles, the referred doctor must commence the role within six months of being referred and work the full-time-equivalent of three months.

New doctors who register with Wave between 1 September and 31 October 2023 and complete eligible placements will receive a $500 prepaid gift card. Registered with Wave before September last year but haven’t yet taken the plunge? Well, maybe it’s time to dive in!
It’s as easy as:
- Register with Wave or reactivate your registration between 1 September and 31 October.
- Successfully complete a locum or permanent placement
- Wait for your reward to arrive
What you need to know:
- You must be either brand new to Wave, or not have used our services since prior to September 2022.
- Doctors placed in locum roles will need to complete 10 shifts within three months of registering/reactivating to be eligible.
- Doctors placed in permanent roles will need to begin within six months of registering/reactivating to be eligible.
So, you’re a doctor who already knows the value of Wave? Lucky you! All doctors who work with us this financial year will automatically be entered into a prize draw, with 2 $500 gift cards up for grabs each quarter.
All you have to do is:
- Start a placement between 1 July and 30 September 2023; 1 October and 31 December 2023; 1 January and 30 April 2024 and/or; 1 May and 31 July 2024.
- Cross your fingers.

What you need to know:
- For each quarter you begin a placement, you’ll receive one entry.
- If you complete two placements in one prize period, you’ll still only have one entry.
- If you begin placements in multiple prize periods, you’ll be entered into the new draw.
