With a strong background in medical recruitment, Claire established Wavelength International in 1999 with Dr John Bethell to address a growing shortage of junior and middle-grade doctors in the Australian public hospital system.

Almost 25 years later, Claire is proud to head an ethical medical recruitment and migration services company, founded on integrity, and driven to serve the needs of the healthcare industry.

In 2016, Chris Riley joined Wavelength as our Chief Executive Officer. Prior to 2016, Chris has had an extensive career history leading recruitment companies across Australia and New Zealand.

Chris' broad 30-year senior recruitment management experience helps Wavelength align our services more closely to our clients and candidates in an increasingly competitive market.

Katrina joined Wavelength as the industry’s first Chief Experience Officer in 2022, leading marketing, digital and the broader organisation on a customer-centric transformation.

Katrina’s passions revolve around customer-centred strategies, specialising in customer and market segmentation, voice of customer, research, analysis, and user-centred design for brand, product, service and marketing/communications.

She has worked across a variety of industries, advocating for the value that a business can gain through structured voice of customer programs and customer-led innovation. She maintains professional accreditation and membership across both research and CX disciplines.

Joining in 2023, Melissa possesses over 20 years’ experience as a leader and HR practitioner across financial and professional services, both in Australia and the UK.

Providing an exceptional employee experience to support business outcomes is central to her approach. 

Paul joined Wavelength in 2023 as the General Manager of Hospital Services, Locum. He has worked in the recruitment industry in Australia and the UK for 18 years, and moved into the Healthcare sector in 2018.

Throughout his career, he has trained and coached a large number of successful recruitment consultants and has taken responsibility for new business development and client account management. He is particularly passionate about the locum doctor sector and the impact his division at Wavelength has on regional & remote communities across Australia.

Carole joined Wavelength in 2008 as a recruiter. Now, she focuses on internal business projects including partnerships, tenders and operational initiatives.

Carole has extensive experience recruiting across the Locum Hospital and GP divisions, which has developed her knowledge across a wide variety of specialities and has enabled her to visit rural and remote locations throughout Australia.

With over a decade of experience, Elinor is an expert on all the registration and Medicare requirements that an overseas-trained specialist needs to complete during the migration process. She is our Regulatory and Migration Team Leader, and ensures the team provide a smooth transition to Australia and New Zealand for all our doctors.

As Wavelength's GP Team Leader, Max ensures our doctors maximally enjoy their career and feel proud of the valued work they do, whilst helping our partnered organisations operate at their highest possible capacities and experience less stress.

Working with Wavelength since August 2012, Craig currently recruits locum O&G and Paediatric doctors for both public and private hospitals.

He prides himself on establishing the precise requirements of locum doctors and healthcare employers and providing the best solution possible.

Fiona joined Wavelength in 2021 as a locum recruitment consultant, helping junior (CMO) and middle grade (REG) Emergency Medicine doctors find the most rewarding ED locum jobs that suit their personal and professional lifestyles.

She understands her Emergency Doctors work in a high-pressured environment, by being efficient and transparent she believes this will help support her doctors with all locum placements.

Jade prioritises her doctors' career aspirations, motivations, lifestyle and interests in order to provide them with the best service and help them secure the best opportunities.

Based in Cheltenham, UK, Jane can provide UK, Irish and Europe-based doctors as well as Canadian GPs with a more efficient and personalised service, whilst also offering Australian and NZ-based doctors the convenience to speak in the evenings after finishing consulting for the day.

Amy joined Wavelength in 2012 following the completion of her degree, majoring in Human Resources.

Amy always strives to deliver an exceptional service and takes great pride in matching the right doctor to a role that they will enjoy and grow in.

With 16 years of recruitment experience across the UK and Australia, Emma has developed a wealth of expertise in connecting the right talent with the right opportunities. For the past 14 years, she has focused her career within the healthcare sector, where she has built a reputation for her deep understanding of the industry and her commitment to excellence.

Emma is passionate about fostering honest, transparent relationships with clients and candidates. She takes pride in her ability to understand each person's unique needs, ensuring that every match she makes is the perfect fit. Eamon joined Wavelength over 10 years ago and has worked across various recruitment teams including Surgery and General Medicine. This experience across the business has provided him with an in-depth knowledge of how to help all our doctors find the perfect jobs to suit their needs.

Eamon is driven to help locum doctors find the right role at a hospital that fits their lifestyle and interests, while also helping healthcare employers to find the perfect doctor for their team.

With over 4 years of experience in GP locum recruitment, Kelly now works at Wavelength, specialising in placing physicians across General Medicine and its sub-specialities in Queensland, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory.

Kelly is passionate about supporting regional and remote hospitals. She works closely with exceptional doctors to find the perfect locum roles that align with their lifestyle and career goals.

With a degree in Psychology as well as a diploma in human resources, and over a decade of recruitment experience behind her, Claudine Zaarour joined Wavelength in 2005.

Claudine helps Locum Physicians across General Medicine and all its sub-specialities find the perfect Locum roles to suit their lifestyle from her wide network of hospitals in NSW, VIC, TAS, SA and ACT.

Yasmin has 5 years of recruitment experience across a variety of sectors in both the UK and Australia. 

Yasmin is focused on helping Psychiatrists find locum roles to suit their interests and lifestyle in a wide variety of locations across Australia.

Courtney has worked in medical recruitment since 2013, recruiting consultants/specialists for locum positions throughout Australia. 

Courtney is passionate about supporting psychiatrists through the different stages of their careers and finding the best locum job to suit their preferences. She understands the different areas of psychiatry, and what it takes to match their skills with the right mental health service.

Robyn has over twelve years of recruitment experience. She has been working with Non-Specialist doctors since 2014 and joined the Wavelength Psychiatry team in 2021 to focus on Mental Health locums.

Robyn manages Non-Specialist Psychiatry roles Australia wide, working with a long list of hospitals seeking quality locums. She has extensive knowledge of locum placements and is passionate about building meaningful, long-term relationships with her doctors and completely understanding their needs.

Nicole Langan is one of Wavelength’s most senior medical recruiters, with over 18 years of experience. She manages Locum Surgery recruitment.

Nicole has built up a wealth of knowledge about the medical industry during her time with Wavelength and is heavily networked with public and private hospitals throughout Australia.
