A Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) involves a 5-year program. If your training program is comparable to the RANZCR training program in terms of content, duration, governance and assessment, you can apply for Specialist Assessment in Australia or Vocational registration in New Zealand and obtain FRANZCR to work as a Specialist.
As an overseas-trained Radiologist looking for a Radiology job in Australia, it is rare to be deemed substantially comparable. Doctors who have completed specialist training in the UK/Ireland (MRCR + CCT), Canada or South Africa are often deemed partially comparable.
