The Practice
Join a dedicated team of five GPs in this mixed-billing clinic in western Newcastle that provides optimal healthcare to its patients. You will be supported by a capable team of nurses, reception staff and a practice manager to ensure that your daily tasks run smoothly. A wide range of services are available for your patients including men’s and women’s health, child health, mental health, chronic disease management and small procedures.
The practice is offering a healthy work-life balance and flexible working hours during their opening hours between 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. For doctors with an interest in skin, you will be well supported and provided with the resources and equipment to undertake skin checks and related procedures as well as care plans for your skin cancer patients.
The Location
Ideally situated right by the coast, Newcastle is an easy 2-hour drive from Sydney and surrounded by stellar beaches. Australia’s 7th-largest city, Newcastle offers a vast variety of restaurants, bars and cafes as well as retail stores and entertainment. Only half an hour from Port Stephen’s beautiful white sandy beaches and a 45-minute drive from the famous Hunter Valley wine region, your weekends will be filled with endless adventures. This purpose-built medical clinic is looking for a dedicated doctor to help look after their growing patient base. You will join a team of six highly experienced GPs that hold special interests in a number of different areas.
This practice boasts a variety of services under the one roof including a dental surgery, radiology, pathology, physiotherapy and allied health professionals. The practice is well-equipped for all your needs with 19 consult rooms and a fully-stocked treatment room. With an excellent practice manager and full nursing support, you will be able to perform minor procedures and provide your patients with exceptional patient care. Your patients will be looked after well by the reception staff who will support you with your admin needs.
Practice opening hours are 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm on Saturdays. The practice is happy tobe flexible and accommodate your preferred hours to ensure you achieve a healthy work-life balance.
Wavelength has helped four GPs from the UK join this clinic over the past three years, with wonderful feedback!
