You must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA. You must either be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, be an Australian Permanent Resident, or be on a 457 Temporary Work Visa. NSW paperwork must be completed and you must have proof of recent immunisations
Locum as ED Junior Registrar in this small, remote ED seeing between 50-70 presentations a day
The majority of locum shifts are outside of regular hours and all shifts will have a period where you are working solo in the ED or Hospital. Responsibilities will include managing admitted patients and phone consultation with the admitting specialist

Admitting Officer Role in a busy Emergency Department
The Goulburn Valley Health Emergency Department sees approximately 35,000 patients per year. One third of these patients are paediatric. There is a full range of patient presentations including trauma.
Shorter blocks will be considered

3.5hr drive from Melbourne. Melbourne is the closest airport if travelling there from outside of VIC.
The Emergency Department has 25 cubicles including:
3 resuscitation cubicles ? for all traumas, cardiac arrest and other critically ill patients
