Wavelength International – ‘Spring 2024 Referral Bonus’ Campaign Terms & Conditions 

  • Campaign Dates: 1 September 2024 – 30 November 2024 

By participating in Wavelength International’s Referral Program, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the program. 

  1. To refer a candidate, referees must be registered with Wavelength before making the referral. 
  2. A referral can be made via email or the registration form on our Refer a Doctor page here. The referral incentive is only applicable if the referred doctor is a new candidate who has not previously registered with Wavelength International or used its services. It is the referee’s responsibility to ascertain whether the referral has engaged services with or has been placed by Wavelength International before submitting the referral. 
  3. Referees may refer as many candidates as they choose. Each referral which meets Wavelength International’s eligibility requirements as set out below will entitle the referee to the reward.  
  4. Referrals are not valid where the prospect and the referring party are one and the same person. 
  5. If a referral is submitted multiple times from different referees, then the  first referral received by Wavelength International will be eligible for the reward.
  6. Referrals made during the campaign period will be valid for 6 months from the date a candidate referral is received by Wavelength International, however, to receive the additional rewards as part of the Spring Campaign, the qualifying criteria must be met on or before 28th February.  
  7. Any referrals submitted via the referral form here or via email between 1 September 2024 and 30 November 2024 will be eligible for the reward if the below criteria are met. 
  8. A Gift Card will be offered when the referred prospect is successfully placed through Wavelength International 
    8.1 A successful permanent placement occurs when the candidate is referred during the campaign period, commences a permanent role through Wavelength before the 28th February, and subsequently completes the initial three-month full-time-equivalent assignment. The referrer will then receive a AUD$1,000 gift card. (see example below). 
     8.2 A successful locum placement occurs when the candidate has worked a minimum of ten shifts before the 28 February 2025 (see example below). 
    1. 10 shifts = AU$1,000 
    2. 20 shifts = AU$1,500 
  9. Referrals made outside the campaign period will be eligible for the standard AU$500 referral amount, per the program Terms & Conditions below. 
  10. The referrer will be sent their reward during the first 2 weeks of March 2025, or in the first 2 weeks of the month after the maximum reward level (20 shifts for locum placements, or 3 months FTE for perm placement) has been reached. 
  11. The reward will be delivered via email, as an eGift Card, issued by GiftPay. Once the eGift Card is received by the referrer, Wavelength rescinds responsibility for the reward, and all GiftPay terms and conditions apply, available at https://www.giftpay.com.au/business/  
  12. This program may be terminated or changed at Wavelength International’s discretion at any time and without notice. 

Example of successful Permanent placement referral 

John is a registered doctor with Wavelength. John refers his friend, Lizzie, also a doctor, between the specified campaign dates. Lizzie is then placed in a permanent role before the 28th of February 2025. After Lizzie completes three months in this new role, John will be sent a AU$1,000 eGiftCard within the first two weeks of the following month.  

John has the option to split the referral reward with Lizzie. Any arrangement must be agreed upon between them. 

Example of a successful Locum placement referral 

Mary is a registered doctor with Wavelength. Mary refers her friend, Katrina, who is also a doctor, between the specified campaign dates. Katrina then starts locuming with Wavelength. Reward: 

  • If Katrina completes 10 shifts before 28 February 2025, Mary will receive an AU$1,000 eGiftCard. 
  • If Katrina completes 20 shifts before 28 February 2025, Mary will receive an AU$1,500 eGiftCard. 

The eGiftCard will be sent before 28 March 2025. 

Mary has the option to split the referral reward with Katrina. Any arrangement must be agreed upon between them.
