My client is a rural and remote hospital looking for a Senior Medical Officer Obstetrics. The SMO Obstetrician will hold FRACGP or FACCRM and will have several years experience of emergency medicine, preferably in rural and remote hospitals in Australia
Must hold FRACGP or FACCRM as well as a JCCA. You must either be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, an Australian Permanent Resident or on a 457 Temporary Work Visa.

Hours are generally flexible for blocks of 2-3+ hours per clinic 0830-1700 Monday – Friday, there may also be some weekend opportunities depending on individual clients.
Access to reliable broadband internet and a suitable computer with web-camera and microphone are essential for any Telehealth positions.
To be successful in applying for Telehealth positions you must hold Fellowship in your specialty and specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must also be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.

Albury is the biggest of the two hospitals, the ED consists of 12 beds, 2 Resus beds and a 4 bed short stay unit. Wodonga is a 12 bed ED with 2 Resus beds. Across both facilities the ED has around 80,000 presentations annually with 25% paeds presentations
Accommodation is provided. Albury airport is a 1hr flight from Sydney or Melbourne. 3.5hr drive from Melbourne, 5.5hr drive from Sydney.
You must have General Registration with AHPRA.
Albury Wodonga Health have specific hospital paperwork which must be completed. A NCRC & NSW/VIC WWCC is also required, which can be applied for online.
