Locums must be able to work at least 2 weeks at a time. Roster will be Monday to Sunday, shifts to be announced. Role of the locum will be to assess patient suitability, pharmacovigilance and provide support for any acute advertise events
Albury is the biggest of the two hospitals, the ED consists of 12 beds, 2 Resus beds and a 4 bed short stay unit. Wodonga is a 12 bed ED with 2 Resus beds. Across both facilities the ED has around 80,000 presentations annually with 25% paeds presentations
Accommodation is provided. Albury airport is a 1hr flight from Sydney or Melbourne. 3.5hr drive from Melbourne, 5.5hr drive from Sydney.
You must have General Registration with AHPRA.
Albury Wodonga Health have specific hospital paperwork which must be completed. A NCRC & NSW/VIC WWCC is also required, which can be applied for online.
ED Registrar or CMO needed in a relatively busy Department
The ED sees 29,000 presentations a year, over two sites that are 25km apart. Each site has a resuscitation room, telehealth link to Canberra and 30-bed inpatients units. Most transfers/retrievals are to Canberra.

Flights & really nice motel accommodation provided. Hire car provided also. Can fly to Moruya Airport or to Canberra Airport and drive. 4hr drive from Sydney, mileage will be reimbursed if driving your own vehicle.
