The Practice

This mixed billing clinic is looking for a full time or part time GP to join their team. You will be working alongside 2 doctors, an experienced team of nurses and reception staff that pride themselves in providing comprehensive and personalised care. There are five consultation rooms and one treatment room.

You can expect to be fully booked within 2-3 weeks and they can provide level 1-3 supervision. Your workload will be varied, with a mix demographic of patients, that have access to an onsite physiotherapist. The opening hours are 9am to 5:30pm on Monday and 9am to 5pm Tuesday to Friday, allowing you to enjoy free weekends and a healthy work-life balance.

The Location

This practice is only 40 minutes’ drive north of Adelaide city centre. It is close to a pharmacy and major hospital. Due to its proximity to a shopping centre, library and school, there is good public transport and a bus stop nearby. Adelaide is known as the wine and festival capital of Australia. It is a vibrant city with rolling hills, pristine beaches, galleries, wonderful dining options, boutique stores and national parks. It’s no wonder many families are relocating to this beautiful city because it offers reasonable housing prices for growing families in a thriving community.

The Practice

Be part of a well-supported and dynamic team of 15+ GPs, 18 nurses and 14 administration/reception staff in this practice that exudes a welcoming atmosphere. Dedicated to meeting diverse patient needs, the clinic offers an array of comprehensive services including physiotherapy, radiology, sports medicine, dermatology, counselling, podiatry and pharmacy on-site, with a laboratory next door. Continuously evolving, the practice is poised for growth, with plans underway to launch a satellite clinic. Moreover, it prioritises professional development, offering membership of PHO network, ACLS training and the practice pays for annual cost of APC.

The practice is Cornerstone accredited and also features on on-site Urgent Care Centre for doctors interested in acute cases – a great way to add variety to your work week.

The practice has two FRNZCGP teachers and is a training facility for the NZCUC, so can support GPEP Registrars. The practice operates across two modern, purpose-built sites just minutes apart, with a total of 25 consulting rooms, two minor surgery rooms and a separate casualty unit. Both clinics include dedicated staff areas, kitchens and parking.

Essential Criteria

In order to be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, you must either have practiced in a comparable health system for at least 33 months (for at least 30 hours per week) of the 48 months prior to application OR have a primary medical degree from the UK or Ireland and have completed your internship within the UK or Ireland.

The Practice

With growth and patient demand on the rise, this family friendly practice is looking for a doctor to join the team on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week. This mixed-billing practice is home to six dedicated GPs, a well-rounded admin/reception team, nurses, IT support and a full-time practice manager. This practice is proud of its open-door policy, encouraging transparent communication between staff which has led to the strong, confident, and supportive team working there today.  

This AGPAL-accredited practice has neat and tidy facilities and is equipped with modern equipment. The five consulting rooms and two treatment rooms are spacious as well as fully air-conditioned making those uncomfortably hot days at work a thing of the past. There is also access to allied health with a dietician, podiatrist, pathology and audiology all on-site.

Non-DPA Position

This well-established practice serves a diverse, loyal patient base and is seeking an additional GP to meet growing demand. The clinic features modern facilities, including three fully equipped consulting rooms, onsite pathology and parking, nearby pharmacy, physiotherapist and other allied health services. The team currently includes two GPs (one male and one female alternating days), a part-time nurse, and three receptionists.

The practice is extending its operating hours to include 5pm-8pm weekdays and 9am-1pm Sundays. Current operating hours are 9am-5pm weekdays and 9am-3pm Saturdays. The new GP will benefit from a strong patient base, ensuring immediate and consistent patient demand, setting them up for success from day one.
