| Conditions: | Innisfail Hospital requires multiple SMOs with FRACGP or FACCRM and ED experience, preferably with advanced obstetrics or anaesthetics. GPOs may have the option to work obstetrics only, with specific workload expectations discussed with the Director of Medical Services prior to booking. The roster consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, either 0800–1900 with procedural on-call 1900–0800 up to three times weekly, or 1030–2130 with one standby on-call shift per week. On-call duties primarily support junior staff decision making and patient assessment. Innisfail Hospital is a 49-bed level 3 general hospital seeing approximately 18,000 ED attendances and 200 births annually. | |||
