| Conditions: | This placement requires a continuous locum paediatrician working onsite and on-call. Port Macquarie Base Hospital has 15 physical paediatric beds (8 funded) and 8 neonatal beds. It is a Level 4 paediatric service, level 3 neonatal service. Kempsey District Hospital has an Emergency Department that admits children to Port Macquarie Base Hospital, but no inpatient paediatric service of its own. Kempsey District Hospital also has a level 1/2 neonatal unit (1/2 depending on staffing level). Information: 24 hour Onsite JMOs, daily ward round, on call throughout 24hrs of each day, re-attend as required or for emergencies, JMO support, etc | |||
