The Position

Join a dynamic regional health service as a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. This role offers the opportunity to deliver a broad, hands-on clinical workload across obstetrics and gynaecology, including inpatient and outpatient care, birth suite, theatre, and participation in an on-call roster.

You will contribute to shaping high-quality, patient-focused care while supporting service growth, clinical governance, teaching, mentorship, audit, and research. This position provides variety, clinical independence, and the chance to influence service delivery within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in regional healthcare.

Essential criteria

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) Eligible for Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia. (AHPRA).
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care, clinical governance, teaching and supervision.
