The Position

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics & Gynaecology Consultant to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to women across a diverse health service. This role encompasses both obstetrics and gynaecology, including inpatient and outpatient care, surgical procedures up to laparoscopic skill level 3, emergency care, point-of-care ultrasound and teaching responsibilities. You will deliver patient-centred, contemporary care while participating in telehealth, on-call, and clinical handover duties. This role offers the opportunity to influence service delivery, enhance health literacy and mentor both undergraduate and postgraduate students within a supportive, multidisciplinary regional healthcare environment.

Essential criteria

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with AHPRA.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) or equivalent.
• Eligible for registration as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Medical Board of Australia.
