The Position
An exciting opportunity is available for a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join a major regional health service. This role involves managing a generalist workload across obstetrics and gynaecology, including inpatient and outpatient care, birth suite, theatre work and participation in an on-call roster.
You will play a key role in delivering woman- and family-centred care while contributing to service development, clinical governance, teaching, supervision, audit and research. The position offers variety, professional autonomy and the opportunity to influence service delivery within a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to high-quality regional healthcare.
The Hospital
This is a major regional referral health service providing a broad range of acute, subacute, mental health, aged care and community services across multiple sites in northern Victoria. Essential criteria
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) Eligible for Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia. (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care, clinical governance, teaching and supervision.
