| Conditions: | MBBS or equivalent Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration PGY4 or above Has a least three medical terms General medical abilities as a resident/senior resident medical officer to work without direct supervision but have support from VMOs CPR Skills Including and not limited to proficiency in peripheral venous cannulation, arterial blood gas sampling, urethral catheterisation, ECG interpretation, lumbar puncture, use of fluids and blood products, simple suturing. Paediatrics - Initial assessment and management of deteriorating patients with appropriate escalation Neonatal - Understanding of the neonatal resuscitation pathway Initial Assessment of deterioration and understanding of the APGAR score | |||
