A contemporary rural medical practice offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit regional community, with excellent work–life balance and strong clinical support. This AGPAL-accredited clinic is expanding due to growing patient demand and is looking for a GP on a full-time or part-time basis, with opportunities for both short-term locum and ongoing roles.

    • Accommodation fully provided and travel (up to $8000) and relocation negotiable
    • Supportive, experienced team with a strong and growing patient base
    • FIFO flexibility, giving you the option to work regular scheduled blocks while maintaining your primary residence elsewhere.

Pay rate: 70% of billings or up to $1,650 per day in this mixed-billing practice, with approximately 80% of consultations bulk-billed.

The Practice

Opened in April 2024, this well-equipped general practice provides essential primary healthcare to the local community and surrounding region. Due to growing patient demand, the clinic is expanding its GP team. The practice has five consulting rooms, one treatment room, and operates on Best Practice software. You’ll work alongside experienced GPs with interests in mental health, emergency medicine, chronic disease management, and family health, supported by nurses, reception staff, and a practice manager. Visiting allied health professionals include a physiotherapist, diabetes educator, mental health worker, and skin cancer specialists.

Operating Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with no on-call duties, the clinic offers excellent work–life balance. GPs see around 28 patients per day, with established doctors billing approximately $15,000 per week. The purpose-built facility features natural light, staff amenities, kitchen, parking, and is conveniently close to the town’s main street, pharmacy, and hospital.

Accommodation support and flexible travel-based working options allow you to undertake scheduled clinic blocks without relocating, with potential opportunities to also practise across two additional sister clinics in the network.
