The Practice

This well-established GP-owned and -run teaching practice offers a genuinely supportive and collaborative environment. The clinic team consists of 21 GPs, including four who relocated from the UK and six International Medical Graduates, reflecting strong experience in supporting overseas-trained doctors. Team culture is a priority, with regular social and team-building activities, comprehensive nursing support, remote access for all GPs and a structured buddy system in place. The current doctors have diverse special interests including skin cancer medicine and surgery, vasectomies, palliative care and nursing home visits, creating a varied and engaging clinical setting.

The practice has recently moved into brand-new, modern premises, offering a fresh, purpose-built clinical environment. The multidisciplinary team continues to expand, with a Gynaecologist and a Psychologist joining soon, and within the coming weeks Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Podiatry services will also be available onsite. Echocardiograms and 24-hour holter monitoring are performed onsite, further enhancing patient care. During your first four weeks, the practice principal will be onsite to provide you with direct support and guidance at all times.

The clinic features eleven consultation rooms, three theatres, and a nursing bay and treatment room, almost like a small hospital ward. The practice also has a large conference room where CPD events take place regularly. Opening hours are 7:30am to 7pm Monday to Thursday, with a 6pm close on Friday, and 8am to 3pm on weekends. The practice is open 363 days per year, with weekend work available if you are interested – it’s completely your choice. Your work hours can be tailored to suit your preferred schedule. Adjacent to the practice, there is a pathology lab, pharmacy and X-ray facilities for you and your patients’ convenience.

The Location

The practice located in picturesque area in eastern Perth that offers relaxed "tree change" lifestyle in the Perth Hills. It is located roughly 25km from the city centre and 15 minutes from the airport, offering excellent convenience for travel. The Perth Hills are popular with families and retirees, known for its strong community, natural bushland, scenic views, local cafes and weekly farmers' markets.

This location offers a unique blend of hills living with convenient access to Perth city centre. The area is known for its natural beauty featuring forests, national parks, and scenic views. While providing a more relaxed, semi-rural lifestyle, this area is an easy driving distance of Perth's city centre and amenities.

AHPRA ESP, RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates (substantially comparable only) and GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role
