The Practice

Established by the current GP principal more than eight years ago, this successful mixed billing practice services a growing coastal catchment and enjoys consistently high patient demand from both the local community and surrounding townships. The practice currently has four GPs, including an internationally qualified doctor currently working through their supervision requirements.

The patient demographic is largely comprised of retirees and pension card holders, with approximately 80% of consultations involving patients over 65 years of age. This creates significant opportunities for Health Assessments, GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements and Domiciliary Medication Reviews, supporting strong and sustainable billings. Children account for a smaller proportion of the patient base, contributing to an efficient consulting mix and enabling doctors to focus on comprehensive chronic disease management and preventive care.

The practice is supported by experienced nursing staff and offers onsite pathology, physiotherapy and podiatry services, allowing doctors to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care. The clinic also benefits from excellent referral pathways and support from three major regional hospitals and an extensive network of specialist services. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm, offering excellent work-life balance with no evening or weekend work required.

Essential Criteria

DPA position with visa sponsorship available.

Eligible candidates include AHPRA Expedited Specialist Pathway (ESP) and RACGP PEP Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates who are considered substantially comparable.

GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are also encouraged to apply.
