Summary
A well‑established private billing medical centre in Inner Western Brisbane is urgently seeking a VR GP to join their experienced and supportive team. This is an outstanding opportunity to step into a busy, modern practice with a strong reputation, excellent earnings and comprehensive onsite support, with flexibility available for either full‑time or part‑time hours.

Pay rate: Initial guarantee of $180 per hour or 70% of billings (whichever is higher) for the first 3 months, then 65% of billings ongoing
The Practice
This long‑standing medical centre has been operating for approximately 20 years and is now located in a newly developed, purpose‑built site. The clinic currently supports 10 GPs (mix of full‑time and part‑time) and features 15 consulting rooms along with a fully equipped 4‑bed treatment room, allowing for efficient, high‑quality patient care.
The practice services a diverse patient demographic and operates as a private billing clinic, with some bulk billing available for eligible patients. GPs benefit from strong patient demand, with average billings of approximately $12,000 per GP per week. Consultation fees include $60 for short consults, $98 for standard consults and $190 for long consults, with an additional $10 weekend loading per consultation.
Comprehensive clinical support is provided with two to three nurses onsite at all times, including RN support for chronic disease management. The clinic operates on Best Practice software and offers extensive co‑located services including Dermatology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Dental, Hearing services and allied health, enabling continuity of care and convenient referral pathways.
The practice is open 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturday and closed on Sundays, with flexible hours to suit your needs.

Essential Criteria
Experience/skills in women’s health required.
Non-DPA position.
Australian Permanent Residency or Australian or New Zealand citizenship required.
GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
