This AGPAL-accredited clinic is expanding to meet rising patient demand and is seeking a GP / Rural Generalist for full-time or part-time work, with options for both short-term locum placements and ongoing roles.


    • Accommodation is fully provided, with travel (up to $8000 and relocation assistance negotiable. 
    • FIFO option available offering flexibility to travel in for scheduled work blocks without needing to relocate permanently.

    Pay Rate: 70% of bulk billings 

The Practice

The clinic is expanding from four consulting rooms to ten in January 2027 to accommodate increasing patient numbers. The practice operates with Best Practice software and delivers comprehensive primary healthcare services including preventive care, chronic disease management, early intervention, and general medical services. You will collaborate with experienced GPs, including a Rural Generalist, fellowed GPs, and an RACGP GP registrar. The broader team includes registered nurses, reception staff, and a practice manager, providing a supportive environment that allows clinicians to focus on patient care. Visiting allied health professionals include a dietician, diabetes educator, podiatrist, and Aboriginal health worker.

The clinic operates Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with no on-call responsibilities. Patient demand is robust, with GPs seeing approximately 28 patients per day. Established GPs bill around $13,500 to $15,000 weekly. The purpose-built facility features natural lighting, staff amenities, kitchen facilities, and ample parking, and is conveniently located within walking distance of the local pharmacy and hospital.

It is 64 km from a regional city, with recreational opportunities, cultural attractions, and affordable housing.

Essential Criteria

DPA status and visa sponsorship are available. International Medical Graduates eligible under AHPRA ESP or RACGP PEP Specialist Pathway, GPs with Specialist Registration, and those pursuing RACGP or ACRRM fellowship pathways are encouraged to apply. General Registration and ACRRM Specialist Pathway GPs are also welcome.
