| Conditions: | This well-established UCC, collocated with a GP clinic, is seeking additional support from either local doctors to join the casual pool or from locum doctors able to offer a block of support. For those who are local, joining the casual pool can either be with the intention to pick up a regular shift or regular couple of shifts a week or for ad hoc shifts that work around other commitments where possible. They would also be open to longer blocks of locum cover, whereby travel, car and accommodation support may be provided dependent on your availability and the cover you able to provide. In terms of the setup, there is usually at least 2 GP’s working daily but this can be up to 3-4 GP’s plus the nursing support including triage nurse and treatment nurse (including dressings and ECG’s). The PM from the collocated GP clinic is also available and it is Best Practice software in use. The service runs from 8am – 8pm, Monday – Sunday, but they may be able to consider shorter hours across a day as well. In terms of the rate, $200 per hour or 75% of billings, dependent on which is greater. For those traveling to this area as a locum GP, it offers a relaxed local base with excellent shopping, dining and coastal escapes as well as a scenic day trip to the nearby Glass House Mountains.
