| Conditions: | Joining the welcoming team you will be working with the support of a practice nurse 3 days per week, plus 1 day per fortnight x-rays on site (urgent x-rays can be taken by trained RN’s), 1 day per fortnight visiting midwife offering antenatal clinic, 1 day every 8 weeks with a visiting RFDS women’s health doctor as well as a podiatrist and physiotherapist on site weekly. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm with an hour for lunch and the patients seen will be varied and booked in 15 minute appointments. The clinic is attached to an aged care facility and features 2 consulting rooms, a treatment room and the urgent care centre has 3 beds. $1600 is paid daily for the GP clinic work, whilst $1800 is paid daily when available to provide on-call support for the UCC. For the on-call work it can be minimal as patients are first triaged by a nurse meaning you are only called for urgent cases. Travel, car and accommodation support is provided along with a 2 bedroom fully furnished unit.
