| Conditions: | Joining this well-established Aboriginal Medical Service, you will provide support Monday–Friday from 08:30am – 17:00pm with no on-call or weekend work. You will work alongside multiple other GP’s plus highly supportive nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners and admin staff with a focus on physical health, wellbeing and prevention. Communicare software is in use and training can be provided if you are available to cover an extended period. Providing culturally appropriate primary care, you will find a focus on maternal and child health, chronic disease management, mental health and sexual health. The clinic also offers telehealth and works closely with an on-site Social and Emotional Wellbeing Centre. $1800 is paid daily plus travel, car and accommodation support being provided. As for South Hedland, it serves as a convenient, modern hub in the Pilbara region, offering easy access to both local amenities and the coastal wonders of Port Hedland. Visitors can explore authentic Aboriginal art at the Spinifex Hill Studio, enjoy parks and swimming facilities, or use it as a base to experience the nearby "Staircase to the Moon" phenomenon. It provides a perfect blend of community atmosphere, rich indigenous culture, and gateway access to the Pilbara's unique natural beauty. | |||
