| Conditions: | The service is community-controlled and Aboriginal-led, with clinical operations supported by a regional health service. It offers a wide range of care, including medical consultations, nursing and Aboriginal health practitioner support, visiting allied health services (such as dietetics, optometry, podiatry, diabetes care, and psychology), routine health checks (including child health), immunisations, medications, health education, and healthy lifestyle programs. There are also dedicated spaces supporting men’s and women’s wellbeing. These include facilities with gym access, consultation rooms, wellbeing areas, support programs, and regular community gatherings. You will join a multidisciplinary team including Remote Area Nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners and visiting allied health clinicians, providing comprehensive primary care to the local community. The role involves weekday clinic sessions (generally Monday–Friday, around 8:30am–4:30/5:00pm) delivering acute care, chronic disease management and preventative health services. Travel, accommodation and a vehicle provided, and flexible locum blocks available (typically 3–4 weeks or longer). | |||
| Credentials: | This is an excellent opportunity for GPs with AHPRA registration and RACGP/ACRRM fellowship, ideally with experience in remote or Aboriginal health, to make a meaningful impact while experiencing the unique culture and landscapes of Central Australia. | |||
