| Conditions: | Servicing a population of 13,000 Leeton has a 24/7 ED, acute care ward, community health services and a midwifery group practice. Support is provided by highly competent rural critical care nursing staff, in line with NSW Health safe staffing profile and an admitting medical officer for adult patients in the ward. Critical Care Advisory Service is available for all CAT 1 patients. Remote medical services cover the hospitals after hour needs, the GP VMO is on call for all CAT 1 and 2 patients overnight. Accommodation is a self-contained unit onsite, minutes’ walk from the ED. | |||
