- Shift Details:
- Day Shift: 0730–1800 (½ hr unpaid meal break)
- On Call: Required (minimum 1 on-call shift per week)
- On Call Structure:
- Weekdays: 1800–0730
- Weekends: 0730–0730 (24 hours)
- Possible supervisory on-call (phone advice)
- Fatigue management applies (minimum 10-hour break after recall)
- Inclusions:
- Travel: Return economy airfare (capped at $1,500) or mileage @ $0.88/km (pre-approved)
- Accommodation: Solo, self-contained unit (hospital-owned or leased, near campus)
- Car Allowance: $50 per day
- No taxis reimbursed
- No phone or internet supplied
- Requirements:
- FANZCA preferred (Provisional Fellows considered)
- Flexibility to work all shift types
- Minimum 1 on-call shift per week
- CV and 2 current references required for Director review
