Experience: Good Communication Skills required. Clinical Skills/competencies required in: General Practice, Emergency medicine, Trauma, Advanced Life Support - Adult, Life support Paediatric, Circulation.
On-call requirements: You will be the sole Doctor on call 24/7. You will be called for all triage categories at the discretion of the local Registered nurses, vCare or VRGS. There is an expectation that you review all cases in-person throughout the day. Overnight (from 8pm) you are expected to review Category 1, 2s and 3s in-person. Category 4 and 5s will be escalated directly with you at all hours. It will be up to the discretion of local nursing staff in liaison with yourself regarding whether you need to attend in person for review of lower acuity patients after hours. Should a Registered Nurse require you to attend, you will be required to do so regardless of Triage Category. On-call will also require you to attend inpatients that are deteriorating. Fatigue breaks if required are to be discussed prior to taking any break with the Health Service Manager. Please note support is available via vCare in emergency situations should you require additional support.

The facility provides a 24 hour Emergency Department. If required, our patients are transferred to either Dubbo Health Service or further if the need arises. Must have eMeds and eMR completed
Medicare Provider number requirements: Refer and Request is OK
Information on site: Warren has an average of 6 – 12 presentations daily with approximately 4 inpatients. Support also available via vCare.
