The Position
A full-time Obstetrics & Gynaecology Consultant is sought to deliver high-quality elective and emergency care in a well-established regional health service in northeast Victoria. Working within a team of five specialists, you'll participate in on-call, outpatient clinics, theatre, and inpatient care. The role includes teaching and supervision of junior staff and medical students via a strong rural clinical school partnership. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed clinician to contribute to service development and clinical leadership.
The Hospital
This regional hospital supports a population of around 90,000 and manages over 700 births annually. It provides a broad range of acute, subacute, community, and specialist services, with over 19,000 inpatient episodes and 25,000 ED presentations each year. Key on-site services include a 24/7 Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, Surgery, Paediatrics, O&G, Mental Health, Oncology, and Rehabilitation. The hospital also partners with a leading rural clinical school, offering medical education and professional development opportunities.

- Current registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Specialist trainees approaching the end of their training are also encouraged to apply.
