The Position

This role offers the opportunity for an experienced and passionate Obstetrician to deliver high-quality maternity and gynaecological care within a supportive regional hospital setting. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive obstetric services such as antenatal clinics, inpatient postnatal care, and primary on-call support to the labour ward (remote on-call, with accommodation available if required). The position also involves minor gynaecological procedures appropriate to the clinician’s level of training and experience, as well as neonatal care within the hospital’s capabilities. In addition to clinical duties, the role includes active involvement in quality improvement programs, participation in hospital committees, and the supervision and teaching of junior doctors, registrars, and medical students.

  • Significant Obstetric experience, including successful completion of RANZCOG Advanced Diploma (DRANZCOG Advanced).
