The Position

An experienced and passionate Consultant or Senior Consultant in Paediatric Medicine is sought to deliver high-quality and family-centred care. You will be instrumental in shaping a sustainable paediatric model that meets the needs of the local community, providing care across outpatient, inpatient and on-call settings. Clinical responsibilities include participation in a 24/7 on-call roster with neonatal resuscitation, daily baby checks, rapid access clinics each morning, and general paediatric clinics each afternoon. Beyond clinical care, you will also provide supervision, mentorship, and teaching to medical students and junior staff, while contributing to safety, quality, and ongoing service improvement initiatives. As a key member of the broader Obstetrics/Paediatrics team, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care, clinical excellence, and a positive patient experience.

• Demonstrated clinical expertise in general paediatrics, including neonatal resuscitation.
